Arcata House Partnership Chosen North Coast Co-op “Seeds for Change” Partner

In July 2020 Co-op shoppers in Arcata and Eureka can “round up” their register receipts to support Arcata House Partnership’s food programs, including shelter gardens, gleaning from local grocers and restaurants, and meals for the homeless on Extreme Weather Shelter nights. 

The award was announced at the Co-op’s Annual Membership Meeting and Gathering on October 12th, 2019, by manager Melanie Bettenhousen, citing AHP’s many services to the homeless and food insecure.  Seeds for Change partners are selected by Co-op members voting for their favorite nonprofits from a list of applicants for the grants. 

Arcata House Partnership is grateful for this expression of support for the most vulnerable members of our community.
