Services Include:
Hygiene supplies (including feminine products)
ID help such as locating birth certificates and important documents
Connection to other AHP programs like, Safe Parking Program, Emergency Shelter and Family Shelters
Case Management
Housing search and application assistance
Address and mail services
Phone Charging
CalFresh application assistance
Food, snacks and information about where to receive meals
Outreach & Engagement Lunch Truck
Mon - Fri 12:00pm-12:50pm
Located at 14th & Union
(the Entrance to Redwood Park)
The Lunch Truck serves sack lunches that typically include a sandwich, a variety of snacks and a drink. The truck also provides connection to services like case management, community resources and applications for a variety of assistance from rental support to food. The truck is also equipped with supplies for health and hygiene handing out items such as Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, shaving cream, razors, body wash, hand sanitizer etc.
Food Pantry
Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm
Located at 501 9th St.
(AHP Annex, by the Arcata bus station)
The food pantry provides a variety of grocery items. Everyone is welcome to take fresh food like eggs, milk, cheese, potatoes as well as different vegetables, breads and dry goods. A variety of options are available and change with each pantry depending on donation of goods.
Mobile Medical Clinic
The Open Door Mobile Medical Clinic offers free medical services on Thursdays on a drop-in basis at the Annex, 501 Ninth St., across from the Arcata Transit Station and next to the ball park.
Hours: Wednesdays: 9 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 4 pm

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a program directed by the California Department of Social Services that provides aid to blind, aged, and disabled individuals who are unable to remain safely in their own home without the aid of a care provider.
